1st ROUND: In the 1st Round each contestant has 1-1/2 minutes to impress the judges.

2nd ROUND: The top 3 performers from the 1st round will receive a 3 minute showcase.

FINAL:  One contestant will be selected as the Double Threat Icon in each city.

Beat Battle Submission:

Producers may bring a beat CD to auditions for review. Please put your hottest beats first on your demo CD. The top 10 Beats will be selected and played during the DT Music Seminar. There is no additional cost.

Exclusive Label Showcase:

You may register for an Exclusive Label Showcase. There are only five (5) showcases available. This showcase provides your artists with the most exposure during this high-profile networking opportunity. Your label will receive a ten (10) minute performance showcase, 3 VIP Passes, plus your promotional material will be included in the Seminar Gift Bags. Also, if you have a Promo Video, it will be played during the Music Seminar.

Krucial is the mastermind behind multi-platinum hit records for Alicia Keys, Nas, Usher, Christina Milian, Keyshia Cole, Eve, Mario, Angie Stone, Rakim and many others. He has produced, written, arranged and composed songs that appeared on soundtracks such as Dr. Doolittle, Drumline, Shaft and Ali. With Alicia Keys, Krucial was the main producer, writer, and reason why both ‘Songs In A Minor’ and ‘The Diary Of Alicia Keys’ have gone on to sell over 20 million albums collectively world-wide and counting.
